Donnie Broxson

Building on 20 years experience in multicultural communication, advertising and corporate positioning, Donnie delivers strategically aligned campaigns to garner the greatest influence with consumers, thought leaders and other key stakeholders in the Hispanic market and beyond.

Prior to joining the Acento team, Donnie Broxson managed communication strategy, corporate positioning and employee engagement for Edison International.  In this role he led communication and public affairs teams across the company’s utility and generation subsidiaries to align communication efforts and enhance the organization’s relationship with thought leaders and key stakeholders nationwide.  Earlier, Donnie served as advertising manager for the company’s utility subsidiary, Southern California Edison, where he managed advertising and communication planning for the company’s exceedingly diverse 13.5 million customers.  His work in the Hispanic market also includes time as a marketing director for consumer products and advertising agency chief.

A native of rural Texas, Donnie earned a degree in international relations and Latin American studies from Georgetown University.  He lived and worked in Washington, DC and Santiago, Chile, before finding his way to California – his home now for 14 years.
