Luz Marina Lopez
Luz Marina Lopez’s passion for people highlights her 20 plus years of administration, HR, finance and operations experience for both government agencies and the advertising industry. Luz joined Acento in 2009 to lead the team that implements Acento’s vision of making the agency one of the best places to work and be lean, cost efficient and accountable for partners, employees and clients.
Prior to her current role, she was the VP/Director Human Resources and Administration for La Agencia de Orci for over 13 years. For five years Luz consulted with varied clients including Mars, Inc. , Nutro Products, Activision and Freedom Communications. With a reputation for judicious use of resources and resulting cost containment, Luz Marina’s work has been instrumental in meeting the financial goals for her accounts. She attended UCLA where she majored in Business Administration and Human Resource Management. Luz Marina is currently a member of SHRM and is a strong believer of giving back to the community. She volunteers time with at risk teens. She is Colombian by birth and American by choice.
