TIME WARNER CABLE CLEANS UP AT MARK AWARDS

Team Acento congratulates client Time Warner Cable as the big winner among content providers and cable companies at this year's Mark Awards. Time Warner Cable won the most Mark Awards among the cable companies with 16 - six gold, seven silver and three bronze. One of the winners was Acento produced Digital Transition Campaign (Spanish and English) - Click Here For Acento Campaign This year, nearly 1,000 marketing efforts were submitted to be reviewed by cable's top marketers. ACENTO CONGRATULATES BOB ORCI, IMAGINE AWARD RECIPIENT

Bob Orci, a regular collaborator with Acento Entertainment, received an Imagen Award acknowledging his achievements and positive portrayal of Latinos in culture and entertainment. As writer of two of 2009's biggest blockbusters (Michael Bay-directed "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" and J.J. Abrams "Star Trek" reboot, as well as producer for the year's highest-grossing romantic comedy, "The Proposal," Orci's streak continued at the Imagen event where he received the Norman Lear Writer's Award. ACENTO WINS AWARDS WITH SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON CAMPAIGNS

Southern California Edison (SCE) won a total of 5 awards at the Utility Communicators International competition. The 2008 "Tips" campaign that was produced by Acento in 6 languages and SCE's PR took 3rd Place in the "Complete Campaign Image and PR" category. Acento and partner agencies took 1st Place in the category of "Best Ethnic Campaign" for "Save Energy, Money, and the Environment." (July 2009)
